The 2026 Installation of Officers have concluded and Worshipful Master has been elected for a 3rd term in a row (4th All Time; Yancy C Blaylock #265). WB Virg has continued to lead the Lodge into a prosperous year. His legacy will be that of ensuring our Masons are raised with a strong background in the values of a Mason.
While we thought this was his swan song, the song got a little bit longer as the comfort of his Brethren ensure it will be an easy year. Virg promises a successful year and looks forward to seeing you in Lodge.
A sweet part of the night was that Worshipful Master elected to forgo his gift and wanted to bestow a life membership to Brother Nestor Martija for excellence service in attendance. Nestor has barely missed a any type of meeting and has always been supportive to the Brethren. His name will forever be sealed as a Life Member.
VWB Mark Williams decided to grace us with his presence by jumping on a quick plane from Las Vegas just to witness the event. Unbeknownst to him, we wanted to ensure he was a recipient of the Lewis Jewel. His father Glen Williams was a member back in the 1950’s.
And last but not least. The Lodge recognized Secretary, WB Earl Lara with a Hiram Award. This award is not bestowed every year, and is no longer entertained to be honored multiple times. An exception was made and our own Deputy to the Grand Master of District #8, VWB Scott Ross, and Grand Secretary, RWB Clint Brown, of the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of F&AM presented this honor.
It also worth mentioning we welcome Bro Edward Eluere and Bro Michael Cox to our fold. Michael pictured below was installed as Senior Steward of the Lodge:
